Endowed with a unique elegance, that is how the First Old Wine Spirit in the Tagus Region was born
WINEMAKING
This brandy was obtained by distilling wines made fromFernão Pires grape varieties, harvested early to preserve all of their acidity and freshness. As soon as an alcoholic fermentation ended, the wines were distilled and redistilled in a “Charantais” still by a master distiller, with decades of experience in this type of ancestral distillation, so typical of the Cognac region of France. After redistilling as brandies, they were aged for about 20 years in 225 liter new wood “Limousin” barrels, resulting in a product of great nobility.
TASTING NOTES A peculiarly noble brandy, nourished with a deep amber color, notes of nuts, silky and enveloping mouth with a long finish and enormous persistence, ideal to complement the end of the meal with all the refinement and pleasure.
